Another musical grab bag for your 1st day of summer...

• Dudes, it's Recess At Work Day!
  
• The best damn free music series in the city: Celebrate Brooklyn gets into full swing this evening with Richard Thompson & Ollabelle... hope to make it to a few of these, probably tonight.
• Speaking of festivals, I'll be at Newport Folk Festival in August and (sweet!!) Austin City Limits, which just released its lineup this week, in September. Got any recs for either?
• Speaking of speaking of festivals, by all indications, Bonnaroo was another smashing success (Jambase has good coverage, so does Hidden Track). Hit up Largehearted Boy's list of downloads to enjoy some Rootastic tunes postpartum.
  
• Glad to see I'm not the only one who gets Phishtalgic every once in a while. AG hits us with his own tale.
• Is it possible that Apostle of Hustle is playing half a dozen times in NYC this month and I'm not going to make it to a single outing? Yes, yes it is.... Liffy checks 'em out in Boston. I'll do my best to overcome teh lame.
  
• The new Benzos disc is growing on me... it drops on August 7th and is well worth a listen.
• Mediafire continues to impress me. I can now share my library of uploads by folder. Here's the minimix folder, the Nedstalgia downloads and all the random live shows. Feel free to poke around, subfolders et al should be obvious, but let me know how that works out for you and if you have any recs. New mix tomorrow and hopefully some new tracked stuff next week if I have time.
